Preparation method:Steam in a steamer for about 5 minutes after steam starts to rise.
Microwave preparation method:Lightly sprinkle water over the Hanamaki (plain Chinese steamed bun) and place on a dish. Wrap the dish in plastic wrap, then heat for about 1 minute and 30 seconds in a microwave oven (500W).
